Sandburg Men’s Soccer to Host Oakton in Region IV Quarterfinal

The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team will take its unbeaten mark into the postseason in a Region IV Division II quarterfinal against Oakton at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kleine Field.
The second-seeded Chargers finished the regular season 4-0-1, marking the first unbeaten regular season in program history. Sandburg did not face the No. 7-seeded Owls during the regular season. Oakton enters Saturday’s game with a 1-5 record. The winner advances to the semifinal round at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Weather permitting, Saturday’s match will be streamed live on the Carl Sandburg College YouTube page.
